About

Originally from St. Louis, Klarissa is an artist, producer, and songwriter who pens music that captures r&b, pop, jazz, and gospel influences, while infusing "feel-good" messages that leave listeners uplifted. She also sings background vocals, and some of her favorite credits include singing with VJ McCoy and Worship Experience at the SOAR Awards tribute to Pastor Donnie McClurkin, a solo national anthem performance at Globe Life Field, and singing with Melvin Crispell III's Legacy Choir.

She has also been blessed to have previous mentorship including Pastor Kim Burrell and TVL Studios. Klarissa has graced stages across the United States including The Muny, Sheldon Hall, Powell Hall, and the Downtown Disney Stage. Represented by Moxie Talent Agency, she has been featured in national voiceovers and involved with various acting and voiceover projects.

She fondly calls herself a "lover of words" and jokes that she was destined to be a songwriter, poet, or playright. Her love for storytelling and words has led her to recently write a collection of poems. Her music has traces of her obsession with finding the "perfect word". Her hope is that her music makes someone feel seen, heard, and understood.
